about
My home here in the stunning Howgill Fells has been an inspiration for my work since moving here from the Tamar Valley in Cornwall.

Having left art-school more years ago than I care to mention I have been involved in art practice in many guises. More latterly in print making, textile and collage, firstly as separate entities and now becoming a more integrated use of all three; combining techniques such as Kantha hand embroidery from Gujarat and also using old fabrics and found objects. The importance of which is an appreciation of their hidden history which has become more relevant in informing my recent pieces.
